Michelle!

Can you believe it? Christmas is only 15 days away! Styling Siblings!


      Check out Rob and Elisa! Siblings, students, and style stars.  They look great for a cold fall day!
I love Elisa's jacket, if you look carefully you can see the military style with a ruffle at the bottom.  I love the ruffle because it adds femininity to the military look.  Elisa finishes off her outfit with a great large-faced watch, destroyed skinnies, and some fierce flats.  Rob looks great in his casual get up too.  Boat shoes are great for any time of the year and his light wash jeans and 4-pocket jacket finish off his look. Carlie!


   Wow, I can't believe another week has come and gone!  Luckily, I found this great girl (with a great outfit, of course) on campus as I was waiting for one of my classes. I love her classy button-up shirt with pearls and, my favorite piece, the vest.  The line between a great vest, like Carlie's, and a terrible vest, think 90's fleece vests, is very thin but Carlie made it look like a million bucks.  Her outfit screams fall sophistication.  So ...

Sarah!



      Basically, I love Sarah's outfit, it is such a great seasonal transition outfit.  Sarah was sweet enough to let me take her picture before our class started; I am really glad she let me!  I love the chiffon blouse, along with her cuffed skinnies and braided sandals.  As far as I can tell, this outfit gets an "A+."  My favorite piece in this outfit?  Her cardigan. Cardigans are great because they warm you up and they pull your outfit together.  This cardigan's rich orange jewel tone is great for fall. The 2011 Autumn season is big on jewel tones.  If you don't want to wear orange, try deep purple, teal, or even a deep red hue.  So ...

Jessie Anne!



            This is my cute friend Jessie Anne!  Last week, she came a visited me during one of my breaks between classes and I almost died when I saw her jacket.  Really, it is a beautiful, casual, fun, everything jacket!  The lavender looked great with her eyes and the lace lining took the this bomber style jacket to a whole new level.  I love it.  Jessie paired the jacket with some skinny jeans and sparkly, black TOMS to finish off a casual but cute look.  She proves that you can be comfortable and functional while still looking put together and stylish.  So ...

Megan!



              Last Wednesday I went to my Management Communications class and who sat by me?  Megan! It doesn't get any easier than that.  Megan was really fun to talk to and cute and, of course, she was dressed really stylishly.  Luckily for me, this time, it was easy for me to ask if she wanted to be on my blog and, as you can tell, she agreed.  Megan's outfit is simple and easy to put together, but it is still very fun and put together.
            On top Megan is wearing is a simple white blouse with a fun necklace but her skirt is what makes this outfit really pop.  The fun color takes it up a notch.  Her sandals keep it summery and the whole thing together looks amazing.  So ...

Back To School!

         After weeks of failed attempts (EXHIBIT A) to make it as a style star on my blog, my Uncle Jay was able to pass as a style stud at a wedding on August 9th. His suit screams of class and his tie adds a touch of fun with its paisley pattern. The fit of the suit is also impeccable for his body type, a straight leg pant helps to create a slim-figure, and the tailored jacket fits perfectly over his broad shoulders.   As you can tell he exudes confidence in this suit.  His poses almost surpass the modeling finess of Derek Zoolander.

        This month has been wedding crazy...and I have loved every second of it.  Two of my favorite people in the world got married on August 9th-my brother, Spenser, and and one of my best friends, Kourtney-to each other!  To celebrate their special day I just had to show off their classy taste.

Andie!




                  I know...I am completely lame, I haven't blogged in way too long.  Life gets crazy but I am going to make sure to at least blog once a week...if not more.  Just stay posted. Anyway!  Meet Andie!  I met her in Banana Republic at the University Mall and I not so smoothly asked her if I could put her on my blog.  She was really sweet and decided to play along.
                I like Andie's look because it is casual but it still looks put together and unique.  Instead of a plain T-Shirt with shorts she opted for a chiffon blouse in a deep blue which dresses up the outfit and makes it more put-together.  Her white shorts also have a unique touch with a white rope belt.  The accessories she uses definitely pull the outfit together and make it fun.  She is wearing white, studded sandals along with a flower headband that she made herself.

Meet....Me!



Alright, I decided if you are going to read my blog...you should probably know a little bit about me!  My name is Aubrey.  I am a Marketing student at BYU and...I love clothes! I can't help it.  There's just something about feeling put-together that makes my day better.  Now I know Provo is not exactly the fashion capital of the world...but as you can tell I have found some pretty great dressers on my "photoshoots."  My hope for this blog is that it will get you to try new things and maybe help you update your wardrobe so you feel like a million bucks. 

Now, I know it is vain to feature my outfit today...but it is one of my favorites, I promise to only feature my favorites!  Now, I hope this isn't too presumptuous...but assuming you would like to try and use my look to make a new one for yourself, here are some tips!

Amberlee!

             I met Amberlee at Sally's, a beauty supply store.  She was so nice and thankfully she let me take her picture!  I love the layered look and Amberlee does it beautifully!  She layered leggings and a crocheted skirt on the bottom and a chunky belt, jean button-up, and a vest on top. Amberlee was nice enough to let me know that she got most of her look from Forever 21! To get her look you don't have to layer exactly the same, you can even just layer the top or the bottom, but her look is very fun and great for summer!

Macy!

This is Macy! I met her at Nordstrom's last week and she was so sweet to let me take her picture!  Her look is preppy but very fun!  She is wearing a classic button up shirt with high-waisted shorts and some cute Oxford shoes. I love this look because she looks polished but still very fun!

Sara!


          I met Sara at Nordstrom's just the other day.  She is one of the stylish sales reps in the BP department.When I met her I knew I had to put her on my blog! So as she got me a room to try on some clothes I awkwardly asked her if she would mind being on my blog.  Luckily for me Sara was super nice and fun about it, so now I have a great model for my style star!
               Sara's look is so great because it is great for either a casual or semi-dressy event.  Her top has a silk sheen and is an oversized blouse.  She makes it fit her figure by tucking it into skinny jeans and then billowing it out just a bit.  Her jeans have a little higher rise than most so they go right above her hips...to the skinniest part of her. Sara also wore wedges which made her look taller and elongated her legs.  I think the great gold  necklace she is wearing makes her outfit look very put together and updated.
              Sara made sure to accent her best features with this outfit by highlighting the smallest part of her waist and bringing attention to her face with the necklace. This is what we should all do with our outfits! Highlight our best features!
